Has anyone ever tried the exercise ball to lose baby fat?

I just had a baby like 2 weeks ago and I’m trying to find an affordable way to lose my baby fat to go along with my diet. I can go to the gym but id have to wait on my husband to get home from work. I’m considering getting an exercise ball and use it to work out during the day while i watch and take care of my new born. Does it work great? If you have any stories about it let me know.

  • Exercise balls are good for balance and flexibility, but don’t burn near enough calories to have any weight loss effect.

You want things that elevate your heart rate (make you out of breath) for long periods of time. The old standbys of running, cycling and swimming are the best. You may need equipment like a baby jogger or a track stand for your bike (so you can do it indoors…), but that’s the way to get it done.

  • Hey, I recently started a site to help moms lose weight post partum. Im a mom too. I’d say the first responder is right, the ball doesn’t burn alot of calories. Check out my site maybe you’ll get some ideas. You can post your question for other moms to answer
