I want you to pay attention to what I have to say, I will only say it once.
1. Eat less
2. Excercise more
Physically, it’s simple. Mentally, well… your in for one hell of a ride.
You cannot target areas for fat loss, all you can do is exercises that promote fat loss. In fact, focusing on a specific area to try and cut fat there can make the problem worse by building up the muscle under the fat, causing it to push out more.
sit ups
Though its the oldest form of exercise, it really works, SIT UPS. and do yoga so your whole body will be tone.
In all honesty, running and walking burn the same amount of calories. However it’s about distance, not time. So running four miles is pretty much equivalent to walking four miles. It just takes much more time. Jogging may burn a few extra calories, and it is most likely a better cardio workout. Here’s what I recommend for losing weight (in a healthy way!)
Eating Tips
-Eat 5-6 small meals
-Eat every 3-4 hours
-Don’t eat after 7 p.m.
-Eat lean meats (turkey, chicken, tuna, fish) – if you’re a vegetarian you know how to add healthy protein (peanut butter, etc.)
-Only eat whole grains (and although a label may say whole grains, make sure it says 100%. If it doesn’t it could be processed like white bread.) Your diet doesn’t need to be low carb. As long as it’s whole grains and you eat reasonable portions they’re okay to have!
-Eat lots of vegetables
-Eat fruit (try to eat more veggies – less sugar)
-Low fat
Exercise
-I recently started doing the Biggest Loser Weight Loss Yoga video. I’ve been doing it the past two weeks, and have already noticed a major benefit. It’s really tough, but I highly recommend it (it’s cheap too-only cost me ten bucks!) I would recommend getting a yoga mat so you don’t slip all over the place. This will help tone your muscles (NOT build bulk-yoga is known for creating lean muscle).
-The yoga should be enough for toning. To burn extra calories, try to add some cardio (walking, running, swimming).
First thing you have to remember is you have to burn more calories a day than you eat/drink.
Second, you can’t “spot loss.” if you want an over all GREAT body work out you should do some cardio, walking 30-60 minutes a day is great.
Also, you should limit the amount of sugar that you intake in your diet. Sugar has a tendancy to stick the belly area. If you were to make little changes you’ll start noticing a difference.
Don’t forget to add in some resistance/muscle training in with the cardio. It’s a great way to tone muscle as you lose it.
depending on your height and weight, you should monitor (or attempt to) your calorie intake. One of the best things you can do is start by eating healthier. Lower amount of carbs, etc. Also you should do exercises such as sit-ups, jump rope, weights, run, and biking, which can all help your stomach area, arms, and legs. But whether or not you see results is up to since this will be one hell of a ride because of the motivation and desire to change that is needed. You can even see a nutritionist or even a personal trainer at your local gym to help get you started. Hope that helped a bit! Good Luck!
Depending on how many calories you consume daily you would want to remove a certain amount. Generally 100-500 calories is a good starting point. Make sure that you are removing lots of fat calories from your diet as well. Increase protein intake because that will help build muscle, which will also help burn fat. Start a weight training regimen including dumbbell curls, squats, lunges, etc. Also, try and perform some cardio exercise that will raise your heart rate
And what that person said about building muscle pushing fat out isn’t true. The more muscle you have, the easier it is for the fat to “melt away”. If what that person had said were true, then you wouldn’t see positive results from formerly obese people
Take Yoga diet and exercises under an expert Yoga guide. It shows the result not only in the body but in the mind and soul too!
Doing sit-ups and other “spot reducing” exercises will not burn stomach fat. Such exercises focus only on make your abs stronger. If you want to burn belly fat off, you need to commit to a low calories diet and at least 30 minutes of cardio daily.
