I do 40 sit ups every night
then i do some other types of sit ups 20 more!
will that burn stomach fat? i don’t know what else to do?
I drink lots of water but if i can i drink diet ice tea!

I don’t find sit ups effective for dropping stomach fat, what I do consider to be effective are jumping jacks, side twists, leg lifts, lunges, squats, standing toe touches, and anything else concerning jumping or hopping.
you need to do cardio to burn fat. the crunches and situps only strengthen the muscles.
try more Cardio work. It will burn fat everywhere a lot faster. I found that ball crunches are good for toning and tightening. simple too! just lay on your back over a big ball and do crunches.

Dont do crunches. This will only make your tummy fat apear greater. it will give you bigger abs which will push the fat out further and you wont see the abs so yea.
doing endless amounts of sit ups will not burn the fat,
it will strengthen the muscles but it wont get rid of the fat.
your core is probably very strong but try to eat healthier

Sorry bud but “spot toning ” does not exist. Your body burns fat from all over the body at a slow steady pace (actually genetics and sex will determine where fat comes from first). Unfortunetly the stomach is one of the last places fat is burned off in most people. You will have to start eating a cleaner diet, with protein from lean meat and egg white, carbs from whole grain breads and oats, and fats from fish oils, walnuts, peanut butter, and olive oil (in moderation). Start doing cardio 3-4 times a week, Best is HIIT (google it) for burning fat, but a 30 minute run before breakfast every now and than will be helpful. As for strenth training, I recommend you do squats, push-ups, and pull-ups and only do crunches 3 times a week (2 sets of 30 to really blast them). Increasing lean mass will help you lower body fat because muscle burns calories even while at rest! Also another easy trick to help abs once you lower body fat is to suck in the gut and breath slowly for 30-60 seconds. This will strenthen the isometic muscle in the abs and make them look more defined even when your not flexing.
Drink only water and green tea, even diet ice tea will not be beneficial to your cause.
