I have to confess, I didn’t go looking for a diet solution to lose weight. I simply wanted to find a healthier way of living or should I say a healthier way of eating.

I first tried the raw food diet and, let me tell you, that didn’t last long as I like my meat cooked a bit! One too many mornings standing in front of my blender staring at a pile of kale and spinach and I was going nowhere fast.

One thing I did notice however was that my body was reacting to the change in diet. This really got me thinking about the old adage, “you are what you eat” and I decided to look into other potentially life-changing diets.

Ones that hopefully involved a steak and a broad mix of different foods! I ended up stumbling across the Paleo Diet when I was at my local bookstore. The whole concept of “eating like a caveman” or what they call the caveman diet caught my interest so I decided to do a bit of research.

What I found got me really excited and I ended up making the decision to give the Paleo Diet a try. I would commit to it for a solid 30 days and see how it made me feel. With any type of eating plan you should do your best to be consistent while on it.

What I have found is that my energy levels are great, the diet plan is easy to which to and so now you can check out the inside information in this new book to see if it is right for you.

The Paleo diet (Paleolithic Diet) or sometimes called the caveman diet can be described as a method of eating that is based upon the philosophy of our ancestors. In this time people survived by way of hunting and gathering and considered food simply as being a way of survival.
